Joining us
The Boys' Brigade is Spilt into 3 Sections:
The Anchor Boys
They are between the ages of 5 and 8. They play games, listen to stories and do craft work, which they enjoy being able to take home. The main aim of the evening is for them to enjoy the times that they spend at BB and with their friends.

The Junior Section
![]()
The Boys are aged from 8 to 11 years old. They enjoy playing games. They work towards their 'Achievement Scheme' for Badges and Awards. The Juniors also take part in Simple Drill, in preparation for their promotion to Company Section at the end of the session when they become 11 years old.
The Company and Seniors Sections

The Company (& Seniors) are age 11 to 19 . They undertake many and varied tasks during the evening, from PE
to Drill, Map Reading and Adventure Skills to Crime Prevention and much, much more. A number of the older Lads are working towards their Queen's Badge, which is a great achievement, as it's the highest of BB Awards and take 3 long and hard years to complete. We are proud that quite a number of young men who have passed through the ranks of The Company have attained this great honour.
At the moment, we are trying very hard to start a band, and have bought some instruments on which to learn. The noise can be deafening, but the rewards are great. The Picture above shows some of The BB's higher Awards, including Queen's Badge.
