On Saturday 5^th February members of the Junior section of 1^st Lye headed to Carters Lane Baptist Church, home of 1^st Halesowen, to join with others from across the Worcestershire Battalion for annual Challenge.

A report from the Challenge

There were ten challenges for the Juniors to compete on a individual basis. The Juniors were placed into 1^st Year, 2^nd Year and 3^rd Year sections depending on their age and this meant there were gold, silver and bronze medals up for grabs in each section. The Juniors had challenges such as skittles, shooting targets, bean bag push and others. The new challenge which involved a crane decided to break down even though it was brand new, never mind...

At the end of the day the medals were presented to those in the top three in each of the section and certificates given to each of the Juniors who attended. There was a total of 29 Juniors from nine companies represented.
