The events of the camp - a report by Graham Knight

We arrived on the Saturday and settled into our campsite. On Sunday morning we went to Church in Tywyn then in the afternoon we climbed up Bird Rock some 860 feet high. This gave us great views over our campsite. During the rest of the week we went to the beach, played in the river (which was cold). We also went to a castle and to the waterfalls which wasnt far from the campsite. During the week we went up another mountian and we could see towards Barmouth. It was here that we took photos for the BB gazette. We visited the King Arthurs Labyrinth which was deep underground inside a mountain. Also during the week there was some Olympics arranged by Mr Russell which consisted of various events such as boot throwing, javelin, shuttle run, potato run and a few others. There was also team running event, football and cricket played. Throughout the week there was tent inspection and the winners were Rob Parker and Forde Mackenzie in tent four. In total there was 14 of us on camp and we all had a great time and the weather was fantastic. Thanks to all who went to the camp, got be the best camp yet!
