From Friday 3^rd February till Sunday 5^th February members of the Junior, Company and Senior sections of 1^st Lye joined friends over at 1^st Kidderminster at their home - Milton Hall Baptist Church - for our annual New Year's Camp.

The events of the camp - an initial report by Graham Knight

This camp will certainly will be remembered for the camp with the snow. The two companies meet up at Milton Hall on Friday night. Over the the next two days countless games were played on the computers and consoles. On the Saturday morning the Juniors and younger Company section went to Laser Quest. In the afternoon the snow arrived. The Harriers match was cancelled so the Seniors couldnt do the collection and also there as no chance of Laser Quest in the evening (both we be rescheduled in the next couple of months). So instead of lasers it was snowballs. After some deliberation it made sense to stay at the church and ride out the snow until the Sunday. On the Sunday morning we had our parade service (without the parade). The Queens Jubilee badges were presented (those not able to make it will get their badge at BB). Thanks to all who came over the weekend.
