This past November we held our annual November Camp (variously called Seniors Camp this year) together with our friends from the 1st Kidderminster Company at Coopers Mill in the Wyre Forest. The camp took place from Friday 16th till Sunday 18th November and was open to Company Section Boys and Seniors.
The events of camp
Like many camps at Coopers Mill, this one saw many hours spent in and around the mill - playing the classic games like tracker and capture the flag (where the flags are glowsticks, which helps in the dark) - where the expansive woodland is really helpful.
During the daytime on walked to Bewdley on one of the days, where some of the flood barriers were partially in place at the time due to the heavy rain that had recently fallen; whilst the ground was as muddy as ever, we were quite fortunate with the weather.
On one the of the evenings we set of some of the small fireworks left over from our Fireworks Evening that took place a few weeks back - this was a good alternative to the campfire we light outside on Easter camps.
