Queen's Badge ThumbnailOn Sunday 4th July, after over a year of work and preparation (including the Seniors Challenge 2009 and the completion course) our five Queen's Badge candidates were joined by fellow candidates from 1st Kidderminster and other Companies from across the West Midlands District of The Boys' Brigade, along with many officers and parents at the Methodist Church on Stratford Road in Shirley im Solihull for the presentation of their Queen's Badges.

The service was held by a number of officers, a vicar and a music group from the local area, and the national Brigade Secretary, Steve Dickinson, who was kind enough to join us in the service to award the Queen's Badges to candidates on behalf of Her Majesty. Earlier in the service each candidate was unexpectedly put on the spot to speak to the audience of officers, parents and other candidates about their most treasured moments in their last one-or-two years spent working towards their badge.
