In the July of 2009, after many months of fundraising and preparation, the Seniors of the 1st Kidderminster and 1st Lye Companies embarked on a 5 day expidition as part of their Queen's Badge work, which saw them walk 95 miles along the West Highland Way, and walking to the summit of Ben Nevis. The Challenge raised £2000 for the Acorn's Children's Hopsice which was presented during a evening service on July 2010.
