On Saturday 5^th March Junior members of 1^st Lye joind with others from the Worcestershire Battalion for their annual Football Competition at Carters Lane Baptist Church, the home of 1^st Halesowen.

There were six Companies attending 1^st Kidderminster, 1^st Pensnett, 1^st Halesowen, 1^st Dudley, 2^nd Halesowen and 1^st Lye making up 5 teams with the twenty Juniors. All the teams played each other in what was a cold and wet afternoon, typical football weather. But the weather didn't dampen the Boys spirits and they had a great time and getting muddy in the process.
